ITV1 has ordered 6 x 30’ series ‘The Wild Atlantic Way (WT)’ from Northern Irish Indie Big Mountain Productions. The series was commissioned by Katy Thorogood and Richard Klein.

Christine Bleakley shows the remarkable landscape of Ireland’s west in a new and exciting light as she explores the entire route and climbs, walks and swims her way from Malin Head in Donegal to Clonakilty on Cork. She explores a landscape, culture and environment on Britain’s doorstep and reveals its hidden treasures.

This new order follows Big Mountain’s feature length documentary for Channel 4, ‘Addict’s Symphony’ and comes as production on Series Two of their international format ‘The Genealogy Roadshow’ begins in the United States for PBS.
